Today I have pretty much completely ran out of ideas to talk about, but I swore to myself that I'd write a post every day, no matter how difficult. Soooooo, I have decided to just write down a bunch of things that I've done in a relationship, things people have done for me, or just things I find absolutely endearing. Here we go!
1. Friendship Bracelets.
I actually am obsessed with making cloth friendship bracelets and I normally have a ton laying around my room that no one ever wears. But, I find this idea adorable! Anything really that you can look back on and reflect on memories with a person is cute, but you carry these with you everywhere. I actually had a friendship bracelet with a friend I made in kindergarden and when it started to fall off, I did everything in my power to keep it on. That bitch was sewed, tapped, super glued. I just love the idea of something experiencing all your memories with you.
2. Long Phone Calls/ Skype Calls.
This is hard to explain, but I'm going to try. I've always loved talking on the phone with my friends and family. One of my best friends and I used to talk on the phone for hours after she moved away. I always find if phone calls are any shorter than 30 minutes, they are always sort of awkward and urgent. I feel like after that 30 minute mark, people begin to open up a bit more, and sense it's over the phone or internet, they are a lot more honest and open. I LOOOOOOVE long Skype calls. Especially if I'm in a relationship with someone. I find that they give you a chance to bond through facial interaction that texting can't give, even if you can't actually touch the other person. A lot of emotion is lost in texting, and a lot of reactions are lost during calling. Like I have a nervous habit of biting my lip or the tip of my finger, and unless I told you that, you'd have no way of knowing.
3. Make-up Challenges on Males.

3. Make-up Challenges on Males.
| A slight disclaimer, I have always loved Zoey, so I may find this a lot more adorable than you do just for that reason. However, I love this idea. Anything that shows guys how difficult it is to actually be a female, I find absolutely cute. My brother won't allow me to do this to him, of course. I also think the reverse is also cute, when males attempt to do female's makeup. The struggle they have to figure out our makeup kit just makes me giggle uncontrollably. |
4. Homemade Gifts > Bought Gifts
This is actually a tad bit of a pet peeve of mine, to be perfectly honest. I normally make gifts for people, not only because I am utterly broke (-______-) but also because I find them so much more heart warming. This last Christmas, I completely hand made my ex's Christmas present. It was adorable. It had these two mittens that said, our first Christmas. Since I am a complete romantic, I kept a lot of our firsts together. I also keep journals and scrap books, so I had a ton of stuff. I gave him the first journal entry I made of him, the first dream I had of him, the first date we went on (a ticket stub to the movie which he thought I was strange for keeping). Just a ton of cute things that took me FOREVER to put together. I get to his house, and I am not going to complain, because the things he got me were cute in their own way, but he'd spent soooooo much money on me. He'd gotten me a Halo shirt, all the Halo games I was going to borrow from him (which was pretty fucking awesome), and a really really expensive necklace. I would have been fine with receiving all of this, if only a little pissed off because I'd specifically told him not to buy me anything worth a lot of money, if it hadn't have been his mother's reaction. She took one look at the homemade box with my little mittens and little memories and turned up her nose. I'd spent so long on that, and she thought it was rubbish because I hadn't spent very much money on it. It made me feel awful. (This wasn't supposed to be a rant, I'm sorry.)
5. Hand Written Anythings!
As you all can see, I'm a writer! Yay! I started writing because I have a absolutely horrible memory, but it has bloomed into something much more. I adore writing, it's like a little piece of my life. I love role playing (-click here- for one of my favorite profiles, warning it is an adult site and some of the writings are mature. be warned!) and anytime I find a guy that writes, my heart literally melts. Cillian is actually a writer as well, and when I heard this, I nearly died. I just find anything that is written originally so adorable and heart warming just because writing is such a big part of my life.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this little blurb of nothing. I promise I'll have something better tomorrow! Oh, and my dog is due to have her puppies within the next five days, so I'll be sure to keep you posted!
Sincerely yours,
Apparently I Called Myself Lisa Last Post, So Lisa It Is And This Is A Very Long Name. Kay Bye.
